Experience:
Rowena is an experienced family lawyer. She thoroughly understands her clients’ needs and works hard to achieve the best possible resolution to their problems. Prior to joining Doolan Callaghan Rowena worked in the Sydney CBD and North Shore areas. She has experience in a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution matters after practising for almost 20 years and now practises exclusively in the area of family law.
Rowena’s experience and skills allow her to provide advice and representation in all facets of family law matters including property settlements, both de facto and married, parenting disputes, divorce, child support issues and spousal maintenance.
Rowena is aware of the financial and emotional toll of litigation and works hard to achieve early resolution of matters through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution without the involvement of the Court wherever possible. However, where litigation is unavoidable Rowena is a strong and persuasive advocate and her extensive litigation experience assists in achieving the best possible outcome.
Rowena is experienced in representing clients throughout the Court process and regularly appears before Judges and Registrars of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. She has also represented clients in all major NSW Courts and Tribunals.
